The first ever Washington, IL event is in the books! The All In Boys do not seem to care where the event is held - they just WIN. The boys took the GG Cup in convincing fashion beating the next 3 teams by 5 ranks. Justin Carley once again led the way for the AIB and won the coveted MVG! J Brown came in close behind in the MVG running. Co-Founder of the Getaway Games, Ryan Knuppel, participated in his first event and came in 5th in the MVG race (poker hurt).
Rounding out the top 4 teams were Rocky Mountain Oysters, THE Rake and Controlled Chaos. Good job to all gamers!

Bowling Summary:
|
Bowling was held at Plaza Lanes and was one of the most classic showdowns we have seen. Two of the contending teams squared off and were only separated by 1 pin. THE rake ended up edging out Controlled Chaos by one single pin. Ouch! 1507 to 1506. Nice bowling boys!
Darren Lowery of THE rake bowled the second best individual series in GG history with a 484! He was followed by J Brown with a 435.
On to Softball and hoops!

Basketball Sure Shot Summary:
|
Sure Shot was held at Five Points in Washington. Great facility! Spectators witnessed a record breaking performance by co-founder of GG, Ryan Knuppel. Knuppel absolutely shattered the individual record with 180 total points including 11 10's. This wasn't enough for the Bogey Crew to win the team competition as the All In Boys brought a balanced attack and put up 401 (2nd best ever). Tony Pippin (AIB) was the 2nd place individual making 130.

Golf Summary:
|
The luck was not with Controlled Chaos in this event. They shoot a -14 and TIE with Rocky Mountain Oysters. Chaos then loses the tiebreaker to take 2nd. So 1 pin in bowling and a tie loss in Golf, ouch. Great golf scores in this event all around. Another great weather golf day at Pine Lakes as well.
