Scouting Report

  • Overall:
  • Bowling:
  • Softball Homerun Derby:
  • Basketball Sure Shot:
  • Golf:
  • Texas Hold'em:

    Jason Rogers
  • Overall: Was under the impression that "dinner" was a competitive event. Jason was EXTREMELY confident in his teams ability to dominate that event. Upon discovering that it was, in fact, only a regular dinner, I demanded a trade to a contender. It didn't happen... His high salary must have been too difficult to move in the current market.
  • Bowling: Not a good bowler at all, probably going to be his weakest of the 5 events. Luckily he have some good teammates to pick him up.
  • Softball Homerun Derby: Has not hit a 16 inch ball in a while, but would expect this to be one of his stronger areas. Baseball has always been his best sport and 16 inch softball, as we all know, is baseballs drunk uncle.
  • Basketball Sure Shot: Basketball and golf are the two events that concern him, simply because rust plays such a huge factor and he has not played either in a long time. Back in the day, Jason was a pretty solid basketball player, so hopefully some of that is still there.
  • Golf: Hits the ball far. Not straight. At least not all the time. He can not putt, but has shown some improvement in that area recently. Looking forward to this event the most probably.
  • Texas Hold'em: Has not played in a while. Would consider himself just average at holdem.

  • Ben Marquardt
  • Overall: Overall, maybe the best athlete that I have ever been able to share mind, body and spirit with. He takes pride in being able to walk off of the playing surface knowing that he is a few coulda, woulda, shouldas away from the big show.
  • Bowling: Enjoys to bowl although he does not use all the holes. Has not owned my own ball since he was 11, so the thought of sticking 3 of his favorite fingers in holes that other people already did just disgusts him. So, he use two of the holes and save the 3rd finger for more important things. Even with that grip, he can roll out a 175 more often than not.
  • Softball Homerun Derby: Has never hit a 16 inch ball on purpose, but looks forward to the challenge. Used to be a fairly decent long ball hitter in high school baseball, but that was several years ago and about a 4th grader
  • Basketball Sure Shot: Used to be a dead eye from behind the arc, but that was when he used to play a couple of times per week. Hopefully, the transition back to the former Chris Mullins wont take too long.
  • Golf: 7-10 Handicap with the ability to hit it longer than the avg Joe. Avg drive is about 300 with multiple 385+ shots. 1 double eagle to report along with too many regular eagles to count. Recently competed in a 2 man best position tournament and won 6 and 5 while shooting 11 under thru 13 holes.
  • Texas Hold'em: Has just played for fun. Played in one $20 buy in game and won the pot, but that was just with friends. Not tons of experience, but love to play.

  • David Marquardt
  • Overall: They have a pretty solid team and a good shot to compete, we will see if experience gets the best of them though.
  • Bowling: Decent bowler. Averages 200-205 but never seems to shoot it. Either a 220 or a 180.
  • Softball Homerun Derby: Glad this is a 16 inch ball, he was pretty good in DIII intermural 16 in softball.
  • Basketball Sure Shot: The layout of this game benefits us as we are more of a catch and shoot type of team. Running is not our friend.
  • Golf: I would have to say golf is one of my better and more experienced sports. The only issue i have is putting, so its a good thing we are playing a scramble.
  • Texas Hold'em: Used to play often but haven't played much in the last year or so. I usually finished in the top 3 when i played

  • Aaron Burd
  • Overall: Not extremely great at anything but is competitive in every area.
  • Bowling: Probably in the middle of the pack as far as bowling goes. Not a morning person, so that could come into play.
  • Softball Homerun Derby: Will be a great contact hitter that will have to rely on the line drive and the added weight gain to provide a little power.
  • Basketball Sure Shot: It's been a while, but hopefully the stroke from Junior High will return and let it rain!
  • Golf: Much improved golfer and should be able to provide some helpful shots during the scramble portion.
  • Texas Hold'em: Love to play, just depends on how the cards are dealt!
