Scouting Report

  • Overall: This team has it all. Talent, strategy, skills, desire to win. Last years holdem collapse only motivates the Chaos more to win this years Washington event.
  • Bowling: You will NOT find a better bowling team this side of the Mississippi. Nelson rarely throws under 200 and the other 3 are not far behind.
  • Softball Homerun Derby: Just an average softball team with a little power. Conlee will need to hit a ton for the Chaos to compete.
  • Basketball Sure Shot: Above average shooters and will probably finish in the middle of the pack in Sure Shot.
  • Golf: As good of golf team as we have seen. Seei dominates this sport with Mike, Erik and Jeremy all following his lead. Could see some nasty low scores from Controlled Chaos. Current record holding team!
  • Texas Hold'em: Solid poker team with lots of experience. Nelson ran the Dunlap Poker Tour for years and has seen it all. Might have several players at the final table or might not!

    Erik Nelson
  • Overall: Might be the best bowler at the event with a 205 average. Considers himself one of the best poker players. Very good at golf, should score pretty well at softball, but just average at basketball. A very strong Getaway Games talent.
  • Bowling: Dominates bowling... 205 average last year that keeps increasing. Can he do that at 7:00 AM?
  • Softball Homerun Derby: Plays in softball leagues every year, but not with 16-inch ball...still has a very quick, semi-powerful swing that should generate points.
  • Basketball Sure Shot: Weakest event, but a decent set-shooter...played up through soph year in HS and just pick-up after that.
  • Golf: Has played for 15 years, played junior year in high school, slightly better than a bogey-golfer, usually shoots mid-high 80s...probably a 14-15 handicap.
  • Texas Hold'em: Great poker player, ran own poker tour for 2 years, lots of experience and well-respected at the table. Needs a final table appearance to get Dominating status.

  • Jeremy Conlee
  • Overall: A true 5-tool talent but will he be a 5-tool gamer? Conlee can shoot the ball, plays in softball and bowling leagues, golfs every week, and wins at poker.
  • Bowling: Excellent bowler with around a 185 average, bowls in league each year.
  • Softball Homerun Derby: Has a powerful swing and is a good pull-hitter... should have no problems putting up points in this event. Not much 16-in experience though.
  • Basketball Sure Shot: Good set-shooter, played all through high-school and a ton in college pick-up games.
  • Golf: Certainly above average golfer, usually shoots mid 80s with high 70s potential...our scouts heard he shot a 75 the other day. Sick!
  • Texas Hold'em: Very solid poker player, lots of experience and several wins in tournament events.

  • Mike Peterson
  • Overall: A for-sure 4-tool guy, with softball the only weakness. Outstanding golfer and poker player, great bowler and shooter.
  • Bowling: Very good bowler, has a 185-189 average.
  • Softball Homerun Derby: Not a great softball swing, but he has been playing in softball leagues at least and hitting the ball decent. Probably no experience with a 16-in ball.
  • Basketball Sure Shot: Very good basketball player with a great touch from outside for a big man. Plays twice a week in the mornings before work, and plays in intramural leagues on winning teams.
  • Golf: Certainly a great golfer...usually shoots high 70s to low 80s...about a 6 handicap.
  • Texas Hold'em: Great poker player, lots of tourney experience and a very high win rate.

  • Matt Seei
  • Overall:
  • Bowling: A very good bowler who seems to get better each year in the league...his average is close to 190 now.
  • Softball Homerun Derby: Not good at softball, with not much experience at all. Don't expect much from him in this event!
  • Basketball Sure Shot: Not great at basketball, but can shoot set-shots alright. Should be just below average.
  • Golf: Incredible golfer. Shoots close to par every time out. Handicap of only 3 or so.
  • Texas Hold'em: Very good poker player with lots of tourney experience...tends to either go very far or go out early with an aggressive style.
