No downpayment to reserve your team - REGISTER NOW! Getaway Games 2008 is right around the corner. It's now officially time to REGISTER your team. No downpayment needed so reserve your spot before a) the event fills up b) your significant other plans something else that day. Get Getaway Games dates on YOUR calendar. Here are the dates so far... Oswego (Aurora), IL - May 24th, 2008 - Oswego East Boys Basketball fundraiser Pekin, IL - May 31st, 2008 Champaign, IL - June 28th, 2008 - Champaign Centennial Athletics Fundraiser For those that played last year - we have changed registration a little. All you need to register is your Captains information. You can "add/edit" your other 3 players via the website later on. But for now, GET YOUR TEAM RESERVED by filling out captain info. We are also now requiring NO DOWNPAYMENT to reserve your team. So captains, no excuses to not get in early and get your spot reserved! Here are the registration links: Oswego Registration Pekin Registration Champaign Registration For those that did not play last year - get in it to win it this year! These dates are set in stone so plan on becoming a Getaway Gamer. You won't regret it. Recruit and play for free This is simple. We need more teams for this years events. Here is the formula: It can't get much easier than that. We find out from all of our teams where they heard about Getaway Games from. Make sure they use your name and we'll get you your Getaway Games gift certificate! Heck, recruit 2 teams and basically play in an event for free. Recruit 5 teams and you are playing in GG for years to come, for free! We know there are people that want to play in Getaway Games - they just don't know about it! So help us out and let them know about it!!! Bloomington/Normal, IL and Quad Cities events in the works Good news! We are close to scheduling the 2008 Bloomington/Normal Getaway Games event. This event was our largest event in 2007 and we hope to double that this year. If you are looking to play in this event - shoot us off an email at events@getawaygames.net to give us your best dates. We are aligning the dates now so you may be able to "sway" us a little if you get to us early. We are targetting july/early august for this event. We are also working on an event for the Quad Cities area. This is not 100% yet - but we'd love to see it happen. Anyone up for this event? Would it be a good one? Pekin event is not a fundraiser this year Due to a conflict with the Pekin Highschool Basketball Booster program, this years Pekin event will not be a fundraiser event. This event WILL still be held and ran exactly like last year. We are working with some groups to set it up as a fundraiser for 2009. Enjoy a day away with your buddies - register for this years Central Illinois event in Pekin! Getaway Games has a facebook page We know how big this social networking thing has gotten so we jumped on board and got Getaway Games a Facebook account. If you have a Facebook account be sure to become a "fan" of our page and help spread the word via Facebook. It's a great tool for spreading something quickly so please help! Here is our Facebook Page. Flyers available for download We need your help. Do you know of a great place to publicize or advertise a Getaway Games event in your area?
