WHOI 19 News Feature Thursday at 6:00 We're excited to say that Getaway Games has our first ever news feature scheduled to be aired Thursday, May 3 at 6:00 PM on WHOI-19 out of Peoria, IL. Sportscaster Jim Mattson was gracious enough to meet us this afternoon along with a few Getaway Gamers to do a news feature. If you are around - be sure to catch it on WHOI-19 news at 6:00 PM. If you are not around - set your DVR or VCR and catch the feature later on. There might be an abbreviated version of the feature on the 10:00 PM news as well. As a lot of you might have noticed, we also had a nice writeup in the Peoria Journal Star this past Sunday discussing the format of our event. You can still find it online via this link. Hopefully people all over the midwest are starting to get the 'Getaway Games' itch!!!

Pekin Event Reduced Entry Fee Deadline Just a reminder to all the teams that have expressed an interest in

forming a team for the June 16th Pekin Getaway Games. You will get a $100 team discount if registered and paid before May 15th. The team registration is just $400 per team or $100 per player before May 15th. After May 15th the registration is $500 a team or $125 per person. If you are still working on getting your team together but plan on participating still - please send us a quick email with your intentions. We want to start getting a good feel for the total teams we'll have very soon! Registration options are listed below:
