How many players are on a team? Are there subs?
Four players make up a Getaway Games team. You may replace a player on your roster up until the day of the Games, but after that your roster will consist of just four players. If someone gets hurt or can't make it - you may compete with three players.

What is the cost of a Getaway Games event?
The price for an individual Getaway Games event is normally $125 per person ($500 per 4 man team). Check the event details page or email/call us to ask about current promotions. These prices may vary slightly from city to city depending on facility expenses in that area. Think of the value you are getting for just $125 per person. Some golf scrambles alone cost this much!

What is the refund policy?
No refunds will be given out if a team needs to cancel. This is due to the fact that we need to know how many teams are coming to an event. If your team has to cancel, you may transfer your registration to another team. Just email us and we will work out the details.

How do I pay for Getaway Games?
Getaway Games currently accepts several forms of payment. You may pay by: 1)credit card. 2)paypal. 3)mailing in a check/cash.

What are the prizes?
Each event has it's own set of prizes. Check your event details for exact prizes! But here is the list of things that you can receive prizes for:

There are many other prizes and giveaways planned for your Getaway Games event. We don't list everything! Are there age restrictions?
All players must be at least 18 years of age. We envision some of our best teams are guys in their mid 40's!

Can men and women compete?
Absolutely! Teams may be all men, all women or mixed gender.

What should I bring to a Getaway Games event?
Below is a list of things you should bring or consider bringing for your Getaway Games event:

Event Information Packet (available on event page in PDF)

Your license/ID

Some money (in case you want extra food, drinks, etc.)

Bowling ball (balls provided but players welcome to bring their own)

Basketball shoes/shorts

Softball cleats

Softball bat (a couple bats provided but players are welcome to bring their own legal bat - see rules for restrictions)

Batting Gloves!

Golf clubs/balls/shoes/outfit

I don't see the specific event times posted anywhere?
Each event will differ slightly in the time of events. This depends on the number of teams in the event and on the facility requirements for that city. All registered teams WILL receive their detailed schedule of events the week before the event. Below is an estimate of the time on each event:

6:00 AM (could be 7:00 AM) - 9:00 AM will be registration/bowling.

9:30 AM - 12:30 PM you will have an exact scheduled time to perform your Sure Shot and Softball Homerun Derby.

1:00 PM - 6:00 PM is the golf scramble.

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM is the provided dinner and 1st Awards ceremony.

7:00 PM - midnight is the Texas Hold'em Tourney and Final Awards ceremony.
